The Heathland Layout
an experience to remember
Our new 18-hole Heathland Layout was conceived by architect Michael Henderson of holes in the ground golf course design, and promises to excite every level of player, with a large variety of various shot making skills required to score well.
Within our new layout comprises six unique combinations of holes called 'runs' which feature their own individual configurations and are named after local landmarks.

The Greens
Sand Dune

Holes 1-11, named after the Tip Beach sand dune which apexs above the 9th green
Little Ram

Holes 8-18, named after rame head (pronounced ram), a small beacon located to the south of the course and visible in the distance from the 9th tee.
Gabo Run

Holes 1-7, named after the iconic gabo island, located 8 Nm to the east of mallacoota.
Lions Track

Holes 12-18, and is named after the lions club track which was kindly built by Mallacoota lions club. This section takes on some of the most challenging holes on the course
Davis Creek Run

Holes 15-18, and takes it's name from davis creek which lies beneath the course to the south.
Tip Beach Run

Holes 8-11, which run parallel to tip beach and are a true test of a player's ability to handle the wind.
